We respect your personal privacy, and limit the amount of information we collect from you when you browse and interact with our website at: https://oystershore.ca/
We are committed to complying with all applicable Canadian privacy laws, including the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).
When you browse our website, we use session (temporary) cookies which are used to provide a positive browsing experience.
When you request a booking for one of our Vacation Homes, we use both essential (session) cookies, and persistent cookies to process your booking form request, and to prevent spam. We retain this information solely to communicate with you about your booking.
For the booking request, on the booking form, we request your full name, full address, email address and phone number. We do not offer credit card payments, so no credit card information is collected or stored on this website.
When you browse our website, your browsing activity data (provided by your browser) is logged. For example, the Internet Protocol (IP) address, your browser type and version, pages visited, time spent on each page, and other data collected through cookies and similar technologies.
How long we retain your data
We retain your booking information data as needed to communicate with you during the booking process, and your stay at one of our vacation homes. And, afterwards we do retain your customer record to aid in followup questions, and (hopefully) another visit in the future.
The security of your personal information is important to us. However no online transmission is 100% percent secure. We do attempt protect your data via commercially acceptable means, but there is no guarantee of 100% security.
You can, at any time, request that your personal booking data be formally deleted.
Who we share your data with
Any personal information we collect is not sold to third party services (e.g. for marketing purposes), or shared to third party services, except as noted below.
However, we will share information requested by legal authorities or public agencies such a courts.
